Burgers, marbles & friends

Andrew, Shelby & Maggie
Connie & Two SWEET Girls
The Whole Gang, minus Chris, who was at work camp.

It was a lightening fast visit with our friends from Louisiana, but I do think we milked every minute of it and made another precious memory for our kids. Hayden was true to form checking for eggs within 3 minutes of jumping from the van. Emma & Maggie were on the trampoline in record time, too. We were all a little surprised that the first game of choice was Star Wars Risk, but the Wii was not on the shelf for long after that. Michael was gracious enough to build the girls a marble drop, twice. Once it was knocked down, he rebuilt it without one complaint. Thank you, Michael - that is a beautiful spirit you have with small children. Quinn was anxious to play his latest accomplishment on the piano and it was very impressively done! Chris entertained (or tortured) us with Guitar Hero songs and was helpful as always (he's the best gopher on the planet) and James was simply James. If you know James, you know that means he was awesome. What a bunch of great kids we have!

Andrew's new dog, Shelby, did great with all the "strangers". I was a little concerned about how she would be since she is such a shy dog.

Thanks, guys, for going off the beaten path to see us - I know it was not on your route home, but gosh, it sure was a blessing to see ya'll.....

When would be a good time to come meet Shelby? Oh, and visit with the rest of you of course! :)
