Yes, I call it a crick, but that is my NW Pennsylvanian dialect coming out in me. What can I say? I still cling to a few PA words and sayings, but certainly have given up a few, too.

Guess who visited us today?

Vice President Dick Cheney visited an old Civil War battlefield near us and wewere able to be there. It was very exciting seeing all of the secret servicemen and the huge motorcade that accompanied him. He gave a short, yet meaningful speech about his great grandfather that fought on this battlefield. I used to work in Washington, DC and am no stranger to motorcades and men in dark sunglasses. The kids were awed by it all and I am thankful they got to experience this. Praise God that the war ended with a United States - I would hate to think what this country would be like had we actually divided.
