Our newest flock!

Look at our precious peeps! I am so excited - I have finally gotten the Cukoo Marans breed, which is a French breed that will lay chocolate colored eggs! I can hardly wait! I also got some more Americanas, they lay both green and blue eggs, Rhode Island reds and a couple of cochins - they will have feathered feet! We got 20, but have lost 1 last night. They are fragile little things those first few days. If it is warm enough tomorrow, I will let them run around in the grass - they simply will love that!

Box Sledding

We went with some of our church family to an awesome "mound"and sledded down the hill in a box. Imagine that! Andrew was flying down on this ride!


Where I am from, you sled ride on, um, snow.

It was very fun and we are all looking forward to doing it again!


We had a wonderful time, awesome food (Bea's chicken was as good as the hype!) and the immeasurable joy of being with your Brothers and Sisters in Christ!
